Helsinki Business Hub is looking to strengthen our investor services function.
VENTURE ADVISOR
The Helsinki Business Hub (HBH) Invest In -team helps international companies set-up operations and grow in the Helsinki region and international investors to find investment targets. This is done by building relationships with decision-makers within selected foreign companies and connecting them to key people within the Finnish business ecosystem.
Investor services is focused on matchmaking international VC and CVC investors with Finnish startups.
Main tasks:
Ongoing sourcing of startups and scaleups located in Finland. Stay current with their progress and gather the latest data for VC and CVC investors. Evaluate the business potential of startups from investors’ perspective. Provide startups & scaleups feedback from investors.Creating and maintaining relationships with international VCs and CVCs.Arranging meetings and hosting visits to the Helsinki region, when international investors.Connecting international investors to relevant players within the Finnish business ecosystem including startups, local VCs and corporations in the Helsinki region, as well as universities, research institutes and public organisations at both the local and national level.Support the local startup scene through collaborations with relevant players and partners.Ability to plan and execute the daily operations and develop investor services function further.
Requirements:
A solid understanding and previous experience of the VC world.An active network of connections to international VCs.Experience in evaluating and working with startups and scaleups.Excellent account management, communications and analytics skills in English and Finnish.Willingness to travel abroad.A relevant higher education degree
