Helsinki Business Hub, together with The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, the cities of Helsinki and Espoo as well as the region’s software companies, is taking action to tackle the issue of talent shortage with a Talent Attraction Pilot Project. The project is initiated in the IT sector, where talent shortage is the most acute. Various estimates suggest that Finland currently needs 7,000 software developers and the amount is predicted to grow each year. Read more from our article.
We are now looking for a versatile team with a complimenting skill set and international networks and experiences to run our Talent Attraction Pilot Project supported by the cities of Helsinki and Espoo and the Uusimaa Regional Council’s regional trials and innovations (AIKO) funding. We are looking to fill altogether 3 positions related to the Talent Attraction Project:

The positions are full-time and fixed term until 30.4.2019 due to the piloting nature of the project.
Everyone in the team will work together towards a common goal of attracting foreign software talent that local Helsinki and Espoo based companies are looking for. The team will be supported by a dedicated marketing professional and will be part of Business Platform Development team that focuses on helping foreign companies to find partners and piloting opportunities in the Greater Helsinki area.

Experienced in talent attraction and/or human resources managementDeveloping the detailed project plan and coordinating its executionAble to multitask and support other team members in their roles and activities when neededAdministrative project coordinationExcellent communications and networking skills in English, which is our working language. Other languages are considered a plus.
The person we are looking for preferably has international experience, is result-oriented and can work in teams as well as individually.
