American mobile software company SEVEN Networks has expanded operations in Finland by doubling the number of employees in Helsinki. Availability of high class professionals for reasonable labor costs was the main driver for the company to expand its R&D operations in Helsinki.
Founded in 2000, SEVEN Networks develops innovative mobile software solutions that help carriers and device manufacturers reduce the amount of traffic generated by mobile apps on wireless networks. Open Channel, the latest award-winning addition to SEVEN’s product portfolio, was developed in Finland. Seven has operated in Finland since 2005 when it acquired the Finnish company Smartner.
