Some 300 participants including 40 investors from all over China gathered in Beijing to hear what Finland has to offer in the fields of cleantech, ICT, life-sciences and real-estate.
China-Finland Golden Bridge together with Invest in Finland and Finnish Embassy in Beijing organized a Pure Finland investment seminar, Where’s the next billion, in Beijing Zhongguancun Software Park on 23 October 2014. The seminar was a part of Pure Finland event series, which aim to showcase how Finland as one of the most innovative countries in the world can greatly contribute to the development in China and around the globe through its innovations.
Where’s the next billion promoted Finnish high-tech SMEs and real-estate companies to Chinese corporate investors and venture capital and private equity funds. Golden Bridge and Invest in Finland brought to China 13 carefully selected Finnish SMEs representing the top world-class technologies in ICT, cleantech and life science sectors along with six examples of real-estate projects representing the best tourism and travel destinations of Finland.
Over 300 participants from all over China, including 40 Chinese investors, came to the event to hear about Finnish high-tech innovations worth investing in. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Jia Zhibang, Chairman of the Commission of the Population, Resources and Environment of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and the Minister of Economic Affairs of Finland, Mr. Jan Vapaavuori.
