The City of Espoo´s MaaS project in the field of home care services is open for proposals. City is looking for feasible new mobility solutions for city’s healthcare home visits and transferring equipment. The aim of the projects is to find safer, more efficient and employee-friendly mobility solutions for home care personnel.
The Mobility as a Service experiment in the Espoo city home care services is planned to be carried out between March 2017 and February 2018. Two possible piloting areas in Espoo are Tapiola and Matinkylä-Olari. All concept proposals should be sent latest by 20th of February.
The city of Espoo home care services pilot is one of the initiatives in the joined innovation program run by Tekes – the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation. The program has two parallel projects: one with the City of Espoo and the other with South-Karelian Alliance. The program aims to explore different transportation solutions and ways the new smarter transportation services can create savings in municipal transportation costs.
