Sinagpore housing and city development delegation visited the Helsinki region in May.
Delegation of Housing & Development Board Dr. Cheong Koon Hean with her colleagues and Ms Janet Ang Vice President Industry Solutions Systems of Engagements and Smarter Cities IBM Asia Pasific visited the Helsinki Region on 19-20.5. The delegation of Housing & Development is a responsible for most of the residential building constructions in Singapore.
During their the two days, the delegation visited the Helsinki City Hall, Kalastama and Espoo Innovation Garden. Delegation was impressed by the ongoing smart city initiatives in the Helsinki region.
Helsinki’s open data policy and the usage of 3D modelling were of particular interest to the delegation. Delegation members were extremely interested also in the various citizen engagement projects as well as Helsinki’s modern learning environment.
Helsinki Business Hub together with Helsinki City, Smart and Clean Foundation, Sitra, Tekes, VTT, Forum Virium, Fira, JKMM Architects and Setlementtiasunnot hosted the delegation.
