Austrian radio handset provider Sepura Systems has announced the acquisition of Helsinki-based applications developer Portalify OY. The deal totalled 6 million euros.
Sepura systems hand-sets are designed for emergency services. Finnish Portalify provides end-to-end solutions for mobile working via a suite of software applications which increase the safety, productivity and efficiency of professional mobile radio users, regardless of the communications standard in use by the customer. Its existing portfolio includes task management, asset location, image messaging and database query applications. With Portalify’s acquisition Sepura enhances its applications portfolio and further strengthens its full solution offering to the market.
