Supponor, a Finland-based specialist company that focuses on developing and commercializing Digital Billboard Replacement technology for live sports broadcasts, has has assured its stakeholders and raised 3 million Euros from its existing investors. After successfully testing at a series of events, Supponor is ready to operate at other events and is lining up new commercial agreements with rights holders. “The England-Ghana game (29 March) saw us successfully operate DBRLive at a major sporting event. It meant different advertising could be sold in different territories, and proved the model for the rights holder, the English Football Association, who were very happy with the results,” said Supponor CFO Nick Charlton.
