JWT, an American chain of marketing communications agencies, acquired a majority of Activeark, a Finnish company specialized in digital marketing. After the merger, Activeark JWT aims to be the best marketing communications office in the Nordic market. Agility, expertise and the quality of customer relations are some of the factors that attracted JWT to invest in the Helsinki region.
JWT is a part of the world’s largest marketing communications group WPP. The group’s strategy is to combine digital and traditional expertise of marketing communications in the right proportion. The know-how of JWT and Activeark complement each other well, and together the two companies master the entire field of marketing communications. Activeark JWT offers complete services for its customers in the Nordic countries as well as digital expertise to the JWT chain in Europe.
– We focus on the creation of good customer experience in both traditional and digital environments. The customer experience in the digital channels is related to marketing, sales and service design, among others. The role of marketing communications agencies is being redefined with digitalization, says Mr. Robin Bade, Founder and Chief Visionary Officer at Activeark JWT.
In addition to the group’s strategy, JWT was attracted to Helsinki by the special strengths of the city.
– Helsinki has fairly a large market taking into account the agility of the city. This is a compact place, it’s easy and fast to move around here, says Bade.
– In addition, the good availibility of know-how in our field in the Helsinki region is even more important for us. The deep relationships with the customers are also something special. There’s a tradition of partnership, which makes the work interesting and sets a basis for achieving good results.
