Kauppalehti reported today that one of India’s largest ICT houses Tech Mahindra is landing to Finland with plans to hire 50-100 people. According to Kauppalehti both the upper management as well as at least part of the employees are going to be hired locally. One of the reasons for Tech Mahindra to establish presence in Finland is the availability of talented ICT experts. In India company employs roughly 60000 people from which 95 percent are engineers.
After acquiring a global business and information technology services company Mahindra Satyam, Tech Mahindra is now India’s fifth largest ICT company. It is part of the Mahindra Group that is one of the leading global systems integrator and business transformation consulting organization focused primarily on the telecommunications industry. The Mahindra Group employs more than 155,000 people in over 100 countries.
