Venture Analyst Trainee
Helsinki Business Hub offers a unique position for a university student to get to know the international growth company and venture capital field. The position is paid, 20 hours a week and fixed term for 6 months. Preferred starting time would be early May.
The Venture Analyst Trainee will be part of the company’s Invest In unit and Investor Services team. The HBH Investor Services offers deal flow from Finnish startups to international VC & CVC investors according to their investor profiles. See also the Investor Services webpage for more info.
The trainee’s tasks include:
searching & mapping for new startup companies from different sources and databasescontacting Finnish startups and acquiring further information on their business and financing status and needsupdating the startup profiles on the Deal Flow databaseanalyzing the deal flow according to investors’ needsupdating investor profilesfollowing investment newsorganizing investor visitsother internal & external customer service tasks
We hope that you…
have a strong interest in and basic knowledge of startup and venture investment fieldsare curious, proactive and analyticalare willing to learn about new innovations, technologies and venture capital investmentare a team player ready to support your team matesare able to prioritize tasksare interested in networkingare fluent in English, fluency in Finnish is an advantage
After six months you will have…
a vast knowledge about and good contacts with the Finnish startup and venture capital scenenetworked with international investorsworked alongside a supportive team (that is Jukka, Tian and Petra and the rest of the HBH crew) in an inspiring, multicultural work environmentimproved your data analytics skillsparticipated in startup events
