Verto Analytics, a Finnish provider of digital market measurement services, has raised little over 3.9 million euros ($5.4 million) in funding.
The funding round was led by Conor Venture Partners, which invests in promising technology startups. Additional funding was gathered from a foreign venture capitalist and the company’s operative management.
Funding is used to boost Verto’s globalisation efforts. The company currently employs 25 people in Finland and 5 in the US. Verto Analytics’ newly appointed CEO, Hannu Verkasalo, told Finland’s Tekniikka&Talous that the company will double its personnel size during the next 12 months both in Finland and in the US.
According to Verkasalo, 99 per cent of Verto’s net sales come from outside Finland. Today, the company’s main market areas are the United States, the UK and continental Europe. In the future Verto plans to expand also to China, Japan, Korea and Australia.
Founded in 2013, Verto gathers market data and produces digital measurements to cater for the needs of market research. Verto is based in New York and has offices in Switzerland and Finland.
