Nonstop Games, a Finland and Singapore based games company, has raised a $2.9M USD (€2.2M EUR, $3.5M SGD) seed round led by Creandum and Lifeline Ventures — venture funds most known for their investments in online music company Spotify and games company Supercell.
With this investment Nonstop Games will expand to San Francisco and continue on their mission to redefine free-to-play games across touch devices. Nonstop Games will also use the funds to launch the first of its core gaming titles — Heroes of Honor — a synchronous strategy game that pushes the boundaries of what gamers can expect from tablet and mobile gaming.
“We are extremely excited to be supported by world class investors in our mission to build the next generation of free-to-play games for touch devices,” says Juha Paananen, CEO and Co-Founder of Nonstop Games. “Our aim is to make games people can live, not just play. We want to create immersive experiences that are tailor-made for tablet and mobile. Heroes of Honor will be the first title to show this,” adds Henric Suuronen, President and Co-Founder.
