Helsinki-based mobile cloud computing developer Blaast raised 2.6 M€ seed money from Estonian Ambient Sound Investments (ASI). Blaast, founded in 2010, is developing the world’s first smart cloud-based mobile platform; software that enables feature phone users to benefit from smart phone applications. Blaast is aiming for strong growth and is currently testing its software and negotiating with appliance manufacturers.
The platform developed by Blaast was officially launched in summer 2011. At the moment, the company is actively developing the platform and expanding its operations.
Ambient Sound Investments (ASI) was established in 2003 by four founding engineers at Skype Technologies.
