Helsinki emerged as a new entry in the Top 25 European cities, placing second.
FDi Intelligence has positioned Greater Helsinki as the top 2 in the European Cities of the Future 2014/2015 ranking. According to fDi, Helsinki has been receiving increased attention for its efforts to attract foreign direct investments and scored particularly well for FDI Strategy. Greater Helsinki has focused on three key areas to promote investment: research, development and innovation; growth capital and hi-tech startups; and transnational functions.
London managed to keep its position as the number on in the ranking. Also Eindhoven, Cambridge and Dublin got in the top 5 of the list.
