THE OPPORTUNITY
Clinical Research Institute (CRI) – professional research service support for conducting clinical trials at the Helsinki University Hospital.
CRI is an in-house non-profit research services limited company, which is fully owned by Helsinki University Hospital HUS. We have long and proven track-record (since 1992) with our research services, supporting HUS physicians as investigator and agreeing & making Clinical Trial Agreements and study budgets with pharma and medical device companies.
CRI has a collaboration contract with the Joint Authority for the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS), according to which CRI has the right to implement the Study within the Departments at HUS.
WHY TO JOIN
According to HUS guidance & regulation, all clinical study projects, where external sponsor provides funding for the trial, have to go through CRI´s project handling in HUS area. CRI offers professional handling of clinical trial agreements & study budgets negotiations & finalization, own legal expertise, and financial transactions service throughout entire study length.
CRI´s professional & experienced staff perform clinical trial agreement negotiations and projects financial transactions. All external study stakeholders (pharma companies, IT-providers, medical device companies, and CROs) are treated with similar processes. Our well- proven project handling processes guarantees quick and smooth handling of negotiations, ensuring that your study can start at planned time schedule.
REQUIREMENTS
The study sponsoring company, which wants to perform a clinical study at HUS, should contact CRI / Head of Research Services (Mr. Raimo Skottman, (ext-raimo.skottman@hus.fi) after which the company will get further guidance about process, documents and project specific info thay they should disclose to CRI for project handling initiation. Thereafter a project specific Study Management Coordinator is nominated on each project.
SCHEDULE
Time-lines are fully dependent on sponsor´s study plan.
