VTT and Glodon signed MoU on 12 June 2014.

Glodon Software Company Limited, a leading architecture, engineering and construction software company in China, has signed Memorandum of Understanding with VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland in June. The MoU concerns research and development activities related to Building Information Modelling (BIM).

Glodon is actively searching for further opportunities for technology and product development cooperation with other Finnish companies and universities. Earlier this year Glodon joined forces with Finnish Progman, known globally for its MEP design software MagiCad.  Glodon sees Progman as a headquarters for business cooperation and possible new acquisitions in Europe.

Glodon has over 3000 employees, with more than 40 branches covering the whole of China’s 32 provinces and regions. Company has subsidiaries in Singapore, Hong Kong and USA, and it’s listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange SME Board. The newly signed MoU with VTT and the reinforced cooperation with Progman shows Glodon’s interest in further strengthening its presence in Finland and in Europe.
