THE OPPORTUNITY
Aalto Startup Center is a hybrid accelerator with roots in the year 1997, based in Otaniemi on the Aalto University campus. The hybrid accelerator offers client startups both business incubation and business acceleration services. The purpose of Aalto Startup Center is to foster entrepreneurship and startups which is part of the strategy of Aalto University. It works with both external startups and new businesses set up as part of Aalto University’s commercial research projects (Innovation Services). This unique path is in practice From Ideas To Impact ™, it’s connecting research and business.

REQUIREMENTS
Our university-led services facilitate and help startups to utilize university’s knowledge and talent base, startup community and Aalto campus resources. Our business generator customers are Finnish startups, with or without background from Aalto University whose scalable business area is
- based on strong technology and/or
- seeking to leverage Aalto University’s knowledge, network and connections
